This is the kind of mom-and-pop bakery that restores your faith in real food and genuine hospitality. I tried the chicken pastry and the beef and potato pastry, absolutely to die for. Every bite tasted homemade, buttery, and full of heart. The cakes and macaroons in the display case looked heavenly, each one a little work of art. You can tell everything here is made from scratch, with the same care and tradition you’d find in a cozy European café. The owner, a kind and gracious woman, makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. She greets everyone with warmth and presence, and it’s clear she pours her soul into this place. I can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu. Truly a hidden treasure in San Antonio.

I recently visited Pashina on a weekend trip to San Antonio after we saw it from the road and stopped in. The food was freshly made by hand and the honey cake was as dreamy as the ones I enjoyed in Ukraine. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful and unexpected find! Having a husband that grew up with Eastern European cuisine, this place really hits the mark! We enjoyed the wonderful pastry options here, and have continued to enjoy serving up syrniki at home. The staff are so kind, and really put a lot of love into their work.

Choice place for Eastern European pastries. The lady behind the counter was 100% Ukrainian and all pastries are hand made with love and care. This is a small shop but had available seating inside during my visit. They serve drinks and tea to go with the wide fresh selection of baked goods. Highly recommend for sure.

I traveled from Austin to San Antonio to experience Ukrainian cuisine, and it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were incredibly authentic, reminding me of home. I highly recommend this spot not only for its fresh, traditional baked goods but also as a way to support Ukraine.

The macaroons are the best I have ever had. They were perfectly baked cookie ends filled with perfectly whipped cream filling that wasn’t too sweet. The strawberry and cream had a delicious tangy center and the pistachio was so nutty and toasty. Truly so so good. We stopped by to get Kolaches, and those were good too, but omg the macaroons!
